Fees

For your convenience, payment plans will be drafted in order to suit your financial needs and requirements.  However, SA CHEF TRAINING & INNOVATION ACADEMY is governed by the Credit Act of South Africa, and you will be required to complete certain documentation in order to benefit from the individual payment options.

SA CHEF TRAINING & INNOVATION ACADEMY will endeavour to assist learners in obtaining learner loans from recognised institutions / organisations.  Please approach the Public Relations Department regarding the relevant documentation for application purposes.

 

Payment options

Option 1 – Cash Option

Cash discount will be given should the full course fee amount be paid in full when registering.

Option 2 – Terms Options

A deposit is payable in order to register.  Thereafter monthly installments are due.  A signed debit order is to accompany the registration form.

Option 3 – Student Loan

Please contact the Public Relations Department regarding documentation in order to apply for loan assistance (Standard Bank, ABSA & FNB only).

 

Tuition is payable in advance and monthly installments are due prior to the 7th of each consecutive month. The deposit as per the selected program must be paid PRIOR to a learner starting a program at the Academy.

 

Program fees include the following:

  • Learner Satchel (carry bag)
  • Tuition fees
  • All practical ingredients
  • 2 sets of uniforms (2 x skull caps, 2 x neck ties, 2 x chef jackets, 2 x chef pants, 2 x chef aprons)
  • 1 pair safety shoes
  • Set imported chef knives and branded knife bag
  • Program related text book and material
  • Access  to all cooking equipment
  • Access to internet and library facilities (Wi-fi)
  • City & Guilds examination fees and Certification
  • All assessment fees
  • Accredited certificate for first aid and fire training
  • Graduation fees
  • Membership card
  • 2 year Membership with SACA (South African Chef’s Association)
  • Guest Speakers
  • Ecolab Training (included in selected programs)
  • Cape Wine Academy Program (included in selected programs)
  • Barista Training (included in selected programs)
  • Training from industry experts
  • Specialised Workshop (included in selected programs)
  • Commis de Patisserie will receive a basic pastry kit
  • Salon de Patisserie will receive a specialized pastry kit
  • Grande De Culinaire and Grande de Patisserie will receive a winter jacket

 

Fees exclude all personal stationary, travel and meals during excursions and EIP.  A complete stationary list will be given to the learner upon induction. Special parking tariffs will be to all  students that will be making use of the parking facilities at the Centurion Mall.
